Except for a few loyal diehards trying to rub it in, you are not missing anything, of which some are here too.
The flip side is a dwindling number of "turds" as you point out, taking turns trying g to out due each other's ignorance, chewing a spitting out cud, like an aging and soon to be dead cow.
