For a cash-strapped company, this foray into the game show generation (who have a huge percentage of diabetics) may be a stepping stone into a larger viewer-based network.

Game shows and free TV are interesting companions for the buyers of our products. Marketing to user groups who need our products and are on a budget may produce favorable results, especially if the cost to air the commercials is significantly less than the major networks charge.

A foot in the door is better than no foot at all.

Here's hoping the door opens a bit wider in the near future.
