No, it's not a bad idea and it was included in the Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill passed by the Senate back in '13....with GOP votes.

It included funds for hiring more border guards, more fencing....physical and electronic.....more drones..

It also included making illegals pay fines and taxes, learn English and go to the back of the line.

We'd be a lot further along by now if the GOP House hadn't refused to even put it on the floor for a vote.
