Angel Mom' 'Infuriated & Appalled' by Boston Mayor's Sanctuary City Policy
On "The First 100 Days Tonight, " "Angel Mom" Maureen Maloney expressed her outrage at Boston Mayor Marty Walsh's plan to maintain his city's sanctuary status in defiance of President Donald Trump executive orders on illegal immigration.
Maloney, whose son was killed by illegal immigrant drunk driver in 2011, said she is "infuriated" and "appalled" by Walsh.
"My son should still be alive. Every person that is killed by an illegal alien was a preventable death," Maloney said.
She agreed with Walsh that we are a nation of immigrants, but she stressed that means "legal" immigrants.
"I welcome legal immigrants with open arms, and I don't blame them for wanting to come here for [a] better life," Maloney said. "But when you come here illegally and you break our laws, we cannot tolerate that."
