One point, however, is that a demo sample at a trade show doesn't necessarily mean that film development is complete. This is true of even the giants, like Samsung. A lot more money is put into creating a demo for a show to make it work and have stability before development is complete and manufacturability is economically feasible. One sample just has to work and pouring a lot of money into it to make it work for publicity is a reasonable investment even though it might not be at a price consumers are willing to pay at that stage. Even so, a demo sample made to work for a trade show is significant progress.
