I don't recall anything mentioning Steve in his LinkedIn update nor anything about it being rescinded. I recall it being a neutral statement about the title change being approved by the old board but blocked from going into official effect by a proxy fight. It did mention Sri, which was the most questionable thing about it. Sri's name shouldn't have been included. I would remember if it mentioned Steve specifically because that would have been much worse in my opinion, despite my current concerns. I don't recall anything negative being said about QMC. His LinkedIn profile still includes an asterisk, which seems be be a qualifier of some sort.
