You assertion about 'most damaging' is not supported by historical fact.
More importantly, superiority/inferiority 'feeling's have nothing to do with my post.
The poll numbers are for the BEGINNING of each presidents term and not an approval poll on their performance while in office.
I don't know where you come by your 'over sampling' claim.
