Look there are some firms that are not trading stocks under a penny or set regulations on a certain price that they will not allow trades at. Those firms typically are the discount firms that don't have a strong base anyways. I recently took all of my funds out of Zecco that I could and switched all over to Etrade because of this issue. They said they will no longer trade anything under a penny. It has NOTHING to do with this particular stock. It has to do with fees that they have to pay when trading these stocks and keeping track of the shares from my understanding. Either way they lost my business because I won't be told I can't buy this stock. I would recommend Etrade to anyone. I've yet to have any issues with them.
