Re: NotRichYet2 #30793
They're using fake sales of non-existent shares to try to hold the price down, so that REAL shareholders will panic and sell to them. My belief, based on watching the inaccurate Level 2, and seeing the manipulation games (like, for instance, "offering" 77,000 shares to scare people and hold the price down, but when a real buyer comes in at the ask, suddenly those shares are withdrawn) -- is that there is a very large naked short position in this stock.
But yes, if there were more shares actually being traded, it would be easier for them to manipulate the stock price. Instead, they have to do phony trades between themselves, and naked short and then "buy" back, etc. to try to make it look like there is big selling from real shareholders.
I do think that the new Patrick Cox subscribers/CTIX newbie shareholders didn't realize the manipulation, put stops in, and were either stopped out or panicked out. So "they" managed to get shares from them. But I think some of what we are seeing is phony fake trades.
