Area liberal Democrates or liberal Republicans. There is Lansing east and the rest of the state for the most part. There isn't much conservative up here.
Eitherway the population for the most part has been in place for a 100 years or more and many of the same families in charge. They like there welfare dollars.Very heavy public service Local, State or Federal and very heavy Union.
Trump taking Michigan was a chore. Even West Michigan is a little off center.
