I think that's left to interpretation. I take "our" to mean QMC and their film partner. QMC has no IP for film.
Kisco and Nitto are both regulated under different rules, (Japan) regarding what constitutes a item for public disclosure. They also are huge conglomerates with billions in sales. Quantum dots are just another small addition to their portfolio. Additionally since sales are normal business, they're may also be under NDA with their customers about divulging sales of display components. I can't find any substantial news about Kisco or Nitto when I google them.
