Global photonics community sets sights on San Francisco for SPIE Photonics West 2017
More than 20,000 expected for major exhibition, tech talks on advances for brain mapping, lasers in manufacturing, next-gen communications, much more.
The event will include more than 4,800 technical presentations, two major international exhibitions, an expanded industry program, professional development courses, and other activities. Dates are 28 January through 2 February at Moscone Center

BELLINGHAM, Washington, USA, and CARDIFF, UK — SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics, is launching a new lunchtime forum for experienced entrepreneurs to efficiently present their business pitches and value propositions to savvy investors. The Photonics Fast Pitch Lunch , part of the Photonics West conference and exhibition, will occur 31 January near the Moscone Center in San Francisco. After presentation of 90-second pitches , lunch will be served, offering time for one-to-one conversation.
