The 43k loan isn't the first low figure loan he's taken. I seem to recall an identical loan about a year ago. That could prove very telling for when he actually expects to receive the deposit. If I knew I had 1mm coming in the near future I'd rearrange anyway possible to avoid being loaned 4.3% of what was soon to come.
