Yes
I was President of a union where the Skilled people were in with the non skilled. The non skilled jobs pulled the skill labor wage down and the non skilled labor wages up. Could do anything about it that is the way it was organized. Only reason I became President was a janitor in the position didn't have the skills to negotiate for the skilled labor. If they got a .20 raise they were in pig heaven while the skilled labor was leaving because the rest of the world was paying the skilled labor $4-5 dollars per hour more.
Then there were the last chance agreements negoiated for the butt heads that could do their jobs. Worse job I ever had...but did get to see the dirt on both sides of the table and the why.
Neither sides arguments were go ones or for the right reasons.

I'm a Crazy Scots-Irishman Blue Blood... It's probably not a good idea to listen to me...everything I say is of my opinion. I'm not a good place to get investment advise...
