A buyback can occur over the span of weeks and months. That 350 million figure could have been the product of the company buying back shares over a couple of months. In addition, the company is limited to how much it can buy back per day. It can only buyback 25 percent of the average daily volume. You wouldn't see 350 million wouldn't show up all at once.
