Set top boxes will be around for a while, our phones are currently sending movies to the set top boxes. The main reason why I believe set top boxes will stick around is because users prefer certain operating systems. I prefer my Apple TV and don't ever plan on using my smart TVs operating system.

I would say 35% of the time I send content from my phone to my Apple TV. I can tell you from experience, it's much better to access content from my set top box rather than my iPhone.....

Lucky for us, UltraFlix is already developed on both set top boxes and mobile devices. They're also on smart TV platforms, they covered it all early and they will be ready for the 4K Tsunami.
