What - Biden: Hillary Clinton Didn't Know Why She Was Running for President
Vice President Joe Biden has shared his thoughts in the aftermath of Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party's defeat in the election.
"I don't think she ever really figured it out," Biden told the Los Angeles Times as to the reasons why Clinton was running for president. "And by the way, I think it was really hard for her to decide to run.
"She thought she had no choice but to run. That, as the first woman who had an opportunity to win the presidency, I think it was a real burden on her."
Fox News digital politics editor Chris Stirewalt joined "America's Newsroom" Friday to talk about Biden's remarks about Clinton's campaign.
"The key was to just be steady and still and quiet and let the focus stay on Donald Trump," Stirewalt said.
He added that Clinton made a "gross miscalculation" after possibly being swayed by what wound up being misinformed poll results.
"The voters who disliked both candidates broke for Trump at the end," he said.
