$TSSP Calif. RV Park Adding Large Solar Power System

The city of Rio Dell, Calif., passed an ordinance that streamlines the permitting process for solar projects, television station KRCR reported.
One business, the River’s Edge RV Park, has taken advantage of this with a huge solar project. The project involves installing 100 solar panels on a structure.
Staff members with Six Rivers Solar said the fact that it is an RV park allowed them to get creative. They are installing five rows of 20 panels on a structure around 32 feet wide and 66 feet long.
The project has been underway for the last two months. The hope is to have it wrapped up by the end of August.
