Being someone that is in the industry, in a legal state, it initially seemed like a potential crackdown, but in actuality, nothing has really changed from a practical perspective. It was very grey and now a bit greyer, but the DEA has been maintaining that CBD cannot cross state lines for some time now. The only real impact is on sourcing low or nearly no THC containing CBD across state lines.
