All celebrity money managers are duplicitous. He is probably looking to cover part of the position and wants more sucker momentum chasers to jump on the short side. After he covers and squeezes the bozos who shorted the lows, he will reshort the stock even harder for the next leg down.

If he was really sincere about giving "transparency" on an MLM fraud, why didn't he announce this short position 6-7 months ago when he entered the position? Why did he not announce this short position 3 months ago? Why is he only announcing this short position now that it is trading at the 200 week moving average and has just seen a collapse into oversold territory?
