Let's take a look at the one MW generators that are to be produced in the first batch of 60 such generators mentioned in the Coates PR and the amount of electricity they could produce.
Using my home as an example, I live in a well insulated home in the south and consumed 1,291 kWh in October 2016 using air conditioning both day and night. At that rate of consumption, a single one MW generator could generate enough electricity to supply 774 homes like mine each month while using cheaper fuel in an engine that is less polluting and more efficient. 60 gen sets could supply 46,440 similar homes each month.
Are my calculations wrong or is this a good thing for CIL?
