Love stories like that, in that they remind us that our Doctors are not GODS. They very well give us many times or even most of the time good medical care but not always. "WE" have to be vigilant always in our own health care. Sometimes we need to be the one making the choice(s). Even to the degree of LIVE LONG AND MISERABLE or HAPPIER SHORTER TERM.

The part I liked best that you pointed out is that even with the same conditions the same remedy does not work or even may be counter effective. Sort of like what I hear about different people who suffer from MIGRAINE HEADACHES . Varies a lot and still no real cures.
