McCain Slams OSU Students, Staff Who Say Officer 'Went Too Far' in Shooting Terrorist
In the wake of the Ohio State University attack, some students are blasting the campus police officer who shot the suspect.
Somali-born student Abdul Razak Ali Artan rammed students with his car and stabbed others before he was gunned down by Officer Alan Horujko.
The OSU Coalition for Black Liberation held a rally on campus last week to protest non-white males who've been killed by police officers, including Artan.
On "Outnumbered" today, Meghan McCain said she feels like she's in a "tornado of crazy."
She pointed out that it's not just students who have expressed sympathy for Artan, but also members of the faculty.
"I pray you find compassion for his life, as troubled as it clearly was," Assistant Director of Residence Life Stephanie Clemons Thompson wrote on Facebook.
"What about the compassion for the students who were stabbed?" McCain asked.
Kennedy pointed out that Artan used two forms of deadly force - his vehicle and a butcher knife - and Officer Horujko was the only thing that prevented him from taking lives or injuring more people.
"If one of these activists were relatives of one of the people who were attacked, you really want the police officer to stand down and let the terrorist finish and take people's lives?" she asked.
"It is so incredibly insane and incompetent. And that is the most toxic combination we have on college campuses."
