I expect diesel to be used industrially for many years.  But not for most modes of transportation.  We will see new battery technology that will make the ICE obsolete soon enough.

P2O will be able to fill those industrial energy needs.  And the fuel will be cleaner than what they are currently using.

I am not worried about P2O having a nice long run.
