Interesting conversation with a good buddy of mine that holds a management position for over twenty five years with Frontier Commications. They provide phone and internet service through telephone service.
He said that Verizon is pulling out of areas across the country thst are not profitable that doesn't have fiber optic and is to costly to install.
He stated that Frontier Communications worked out a deal with Verizon to take over all those areas across the country..
Apparently Frontier has improved their technology to increase their internet signal through the telephone service and is upgrading those area . I'm sure the signal is not as good as fiber optic but much better that it was ...
