MARKETS ON FIRE BUT YOU'RE LOSING MONEY?
Do you sometimes find yourself losing money even when the market is green and runners are all around you? Be encouraged, this happens to almost all traders at some point. Maybe it's time to re-examine your approach.
1. Remember good information is king. Do your homework. Gather information from all sources possible, news feeds, charts, stock scanners, social media, networking with good traders, etc.
2. Protect capital; guard against losses.
3. Don't let your trading be governed by emotions
4. Have goals, avoid/cut losses, and take profits when they present themselves.
Never chase a ticker let the action come to your price and if it doesn't there's always another trade. Don't be grief stricken if a ticker continues to run after you've taken profits. Consistently taking profits will fatten your trading account.
