Immigration is a reality.....
Countries need a birthrate of 2.1 just to maintain a static population....so that the elderly can have the services they need and still have taxpayers working.
The US birthrate is less than 1.9 which means, without immigration, a declining and aging population. In Canada our birth rate is even lower, at 1.61....which is a big part of the reason we allow more tired, hungry etc per capita now than the US
