I just needed to state that about DF.
I as well was involved in a business agreement that went bad after a year.
I had sold my business to a public company and had an employment agreement tied in with a the purchase agreement.
The company that I sold to try to change my employment agreement. They said take it or leave.
Knowing I had an employment agreement, I still left to work for another competitor.
I was in court for over a year fighting a preliminary injunction them trying to stop me from competing against them.
I can't begin to tell you the legal cost and lost of income and the lies the company made up fighting this.
I will say I did prevail and won but without any $$$$ damages awarded to me. Just a release of employment agreement and being able to compete against them !!!
This is why I can see what DF has gone through and I have total respect for him and his decision pleading guilty.
