Wife says everybody knows polar bears will play with arctic dogs.
Apparently there is a rhythm to it, certain times of the year, etc.
A boss bear will even discipline another bear getting too rough with a dog.
It seems to depend on a dog displaying first, wagging a tale.
Being the 1st dog ever encountered helps. so on.
