It's a face many Americans remember well, but you might not have known who it was all these years.
Meet Ann Turner Cook, who became the original Gerber baby in the late 1920s and just turned 90 years old!
Cook's face became a national symbol on the tiny baby food jars after a neighbor, artist Dorothy Hope Smith, submitted the sketch in 1928 as part of a contest held by Gerber.
The baby food maker eventually trademarked the sketch in 1931
