Of course bear raids of bashers affect stock prices.  All I said was techisbest's posts don't affect them.

It's very easy to scare people into selling who don't have time or experience to verify that a team of bashers are full of it.

That said, being passionate about discussion doesn't have to have a financial motivation.  People are at each other's throats on virtually every political board (for example).  Everybody knows that a political chatboard won't affect the outcome of an election.  So what?  People get passionate about debates.  Ditto with sports, religion, and a host of other topics.
