I've got news for you, bumpkin. Take a closer look at the map. Most of those blue areas are the locus of the financial and intellectual capital of the US of A.
You wouldn't need all of the Blue States' GDP to far outstrip the GDP of any red areas are you want to match-up.
Now I realize that you need to devalue the people in the blue areas and ascribe some kind of moral superiority or unique industriousness to the 'rural counties', but that's a fool's game.
Two areas in which you're NOT outperforming the blue counties are health and education, which are another way of describing the gaps in GDP between counties.
As for 'dictate'? Why should the 'Red' dictate to the 'Blue'? It's not as though there are more of you. And the principle is majority rule and minority rights, which is the contrary of dictatorial.
