Settlement of the SEC lawsuit would do a great deal to silence the bashers.  The steps you have outlined will clearly also help, but they won't stop.  Their claims will merely evolve, as they have done for a long time.  They dwell on history, which will become more difficult for them when the SEC lawsuit goes away and events of years ago becomes less relevant.  But they are not going away.  They have a financial interest in berating this company in any way they can.  The basher boys don't live on the net hours per day, week after week, month after month, without having a financial reason for doing so.  Having said that, I would not discount the possibility that a couple of them are dead broke and just simply deranged, hopeless nut cases who have no clue what motivates them.
