Of course it's always possible that they've hired investigators who have managed to scope out the news in advance. If you think that doesn't happen, you are wrong.
I know it's true, I read it on the Internet. No really, there have been many reports of people in clinical trials being suddenly friended on Facebook by people they never heard of who then asked about the clinical trial, and reporting that people who were obviously not medical personnel were trying to find out how they were feeling.
