Yes - deters bid whacking flippers to some extent - 5>25-tick spread like during the 3Q 2014 run is even better.
Denies short term flippers completely and later on above .0050 forces people who bid sat or only just discovered it on news or filings to buy on the ask. Worked very well at every level even when it was way up at .015 x .0185.
With no dilution, those that grabbed the cheapest shares control what gets made available now.
