Ive asked myself the same question, why and what are they trying to accomplish. There is a reason for everything. Hopefully soon, now that the company is in a position to give more in depth info we will have more to go on and less guessing. They will not go away until the toxic debt is settled and the lenders are away from the company.
The fact that the lenders have been put in a position that they must now make a choice between settlement or taking a possible loss if they decide to keep delaying court proceedings has them pushing there cronies into overdrive to pressure shareholders into thoughts of doubt. The only thing that would put more pressure on the company now is US! If shareholders decided to push a law suit against the company for fraud. Just read their post. It's obvious what their job is now.
