I believe there may be more moving parts to a deal of this magnitude than most people realize. China has been mulling over the five year plan George has for Coates Power Ltd since Oct 27th. Governmemts do things at a snail's pace and I am sure China is no different.
IMO, George is dependent on financing from China and he will have to sweeten the deal to their advamtage for that to happen. They may be staring each other down by now but George will have to make consessions for this to get off the ground.
He has too much invested in this to ever give up and so do I. Stay long.
