Here's what's unusual: today's volume (less than an hour into the trading day) is already about what yesterday's total volume was. There are several large bids at 1.15 and 1.16. Much more on the bid side than on the ask side.
And why could that be?
Maybe because of something else unusual.
Companies don't usually schedule a conference call for a WEEK after they release a 10-Q. Usually it's the very next day.
So, my theory about this unusual activity is that "they" have also realized how extremely unusual it is to have the conference call being scheduled for next week. They fear, hopefully correctly, that there is going to be some announcement that will make be short a very unpleasant experience.
