If you look at it on a per unit basis, I already took into consideration the operational costs such as $25 for the goods and $25 for cost of sales, which leaves about $50 maximum profit potential. OF COURSE that figure is probably too high (its the "maximum" possible), thus the real number will be less, probably something between $25 to $50, I used $37 which multiplied by their total inventory that we know about so far for 2013 is 20,000 units, comes to $740,000. That I think is a bullish estimate, to be sure, however I think 1/7th of that, at $100,000, which is your maximum profit figure, is overly conservative. I am guessing you think they will not be able to sell the entire inventory or else you think the lower wholesale margins will make up over 90% of their sales??
Keep in mind that the initial agreements they have made with distributors and/or retail outlets were just to get their foot in the door and begin to sell product, such negotiated deals are probably not going to become the standard going forward, especially with other distributors. For distributors like GotVape, this was an untested device (in the market) so they agreed to sell a few hundred units at wholesale for a very very low margin going to RFMK. I don't think we can or should extrapolate much on whatever margin was reached for the very first wholesale batch sold to a large distributor for a song. Another thing to think about is all the costs incurred by the company on units going for media relations and marketing purposes (free). This is probably happening right now and must happen in order for the company to get sales going and to grow. It would be unwise for investors to look at the first few quarters of this activity and extrapolate those costs (or lack of sales for those units) as the norm. A greater and greater percentage of the total inventory will be sold to consumers over time. Surely with all of your business experience you understand these points. To assume as your maximum profit potential a $5 per unit profit on 20,000 units making a total of $100,000 for the year is in my opinion a very low estimate. BWTFDIK, right?? We all know the company is not yet profitable but has the potential to begin to turn a profit and once that is actually happening the stock could have already made much of its move. At this point, a few ticks from par value, it seems the stock is basically trading at scam levels (market thinks its just a share selling scheme with no product, fake PRs, "stinky pinky", etc). I guess we will see what happens in the future.
