I will go out on a limb here and say that if they are paying a million dollar fee to an investment banker, I would expect that the deal would need to be worth at least $10 million dollars. Normally I would expect a 5% fee so a 20 million deal would be worth a a million in fees, but since AMBS is desperate and if they are taking it in a note instead of cash, then maybe closer to 10 million. Regardless, I can not see how there would be a million dollar fee unless it is a significant transaction.
