I have three chicken stories:

< Back in California my girlfriend and I
built a frame for the water bed so that
it was up and into the window sill. We had
a large hibiscuss bush there with a rooster
living in it. That dude would start hollering
around 4 in the morning. He disappeared
one day likely by a neighbor.

< My grandmother tried to show me how to kill
a chicken for dinner by wringing its neck. All i
could do was piss off the chicken. I was 4. I was.
never asked again to get a chicken for dinner.

< The same grandmother told all us kids not to
tease the bantam roosters. Well After throwing
rocks at them one cussed rooster came after me
running up my back and pecked me on the head.
I didn't bother them again. Scared the shit out of me.
