Discussion: I think that if they bid at .0007, that would appear to be "bid support". Wouldn't such a perception cause problems?
My take: If I'm buying back shares, I would have a ridiculously low bid sitting out there just in case the opportunity arises. In the mean time, no one would see my actual purchase until I am ready to place and execute. So, in today's prices, if I were buying back today, I would slap the ask. If I am not quite ready yet, then I would have a just-in-case bid out there at half the ask or less.
