I've placed orders for several million shares. I'm not aware of a limit but it's best if you inquire directly from tos.
If you're interested in OTC stocks, however, it's probably best to check out other brokers. TDAmeritrade, which owns tos, has what is called a DTC Chill on many OTCs and they won't let you trade such stocks. This has been in place for several years and is what drove me to Etrade with which I haven't had any problems. I think I've been using them for about five years. Etrade has no limit, either, from my experience
