They're quiet because every time they announce something prematurely or something speculative, someone who doesn't want the company to succeed tries to screw up the deal.

It's happened a number of times.......

Now they wait until things are in concrete before announcing anything.

It must be working because some people now have to make up stuff to pass off as real information to stir the pot and try to shake loose some real info.
