The company should not be posting on Twitter regarding the stock at all. Twitter is the public face of the company and its products, which has nothing to do with the stock investors. Customers don't need to see stock related stuff.
However, the investors are part of the company and do deserve to be treated with respect. We believed in the management and products of the company enough to put their own money on the line. There were many days when this stock was under attack that I stepped in and bought a million shares to put and end to the downward pressure. I now own a substantial number of shares.
I actually don't like it when companies use twitter to talk about their stock. I also don't like it when a company seems too obsessed with their stock price, it makes me wonder if they are paying attention to the business or are just all hype.
But, in the end, like most companies they still need to keep the shareholders informed in a better way, possibly an email list that we can register for or something like that. Or even just regular press releases.
