Nobody is 'discounting the life of the fetus' unless or until it threatens the life of the mother.
At that point you would have the government intercede and make the choice for the mother and her spouse, regardless of their wishes, regardless of their doctor's prognosis.
You don't trust the government on a very wide range of issues, so stated by you many, many times here.
But on THIS matter you're willing to suspend your unrelenting opposition to 'big gubment'?
Please, your double standards are showing.
