There is no flaw in my argument for freedom of choice. A majority in this country are unwilling to cede that choice to the State.
And that is simply because most people, possessed of empathy, understand the multiplicity of circumstances that can pertain
to pregnancies, can imagine those circumstances befalling themselves, and do not wish to impose restrictions that they might
not wish upon themselves.
There was NO law that prevented your family from making the decisions you made. Nor would I support such a law.
Yet you would impose a law on others, on my family, that might not account for very different circumstances facing others, facing my family.
You do understand why I might not want to cede that right, that choice, to YOU?
