PC makers are likely to be in focus after Gartner announced that worldwide PC shipments totaled 68.9 million units, a 5.7 percent year-over-year drop. This marked the 8th consecutive quarterly decrease.
Lenovo was the leader of the pack, as it increased its market share to 20.9 percent from 20.2 percent in the year-ago quarter, although unit shipments fell 2.4 percent.
