I don't think she's thrown off at all. He is being embarrassed by the moderators as he will not answer questions. He is deflecting direct questions and saying our country is stupid. This is baffling. He cannot answer foreign policy questions about Syria. He is just babbling. I think her thoughts are a little more focused on policy and some actions that she'd take.
