I would like to think that at least most investors in bio stocks would have some understanding of how the different Phase trials are structured.
Unfortunately, many of these folks bought bio stocks because their buddy told them of the great payoffs possible and they never bothered to familiarize themselves with detailed DD on either their stocks or how the sequential process works.
It's those folks who are most easily scared out of their shares.
